Towne & Country Eyecare Associates is a local, independently owned optometrist office located just West of Rochester. Dr. Vadas opened the practice in December, 1998 which started in a small space along the canal in the village of Spencerport. In 2003, the practice moved to its current location at 2277 S. Union Street. Since then, the practice has grown, with the addition of three highly qualified doctors; Dr. Mary Vadas, Dr. Susan Yorks and Dr. Stephanie Su. To round it all out, optician Lori Russ joined the group in the spring of 2015.

Together they continue to develop the practice into a thriving primary care center and remain a staple for vision care in the Spencerport area. Patients of Towne & Country Eyecare receive routine eye exams, testing and treatment for eye disease and other medical complications, medical emergency care, as well as contact lens fittings and a designer frame selection to choose from.

To all our patients:

We are closely monitoring events in our local community and continuously updating our policies and protocols because of new information.

Please know that our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and medical professional team health. We feel confident in our ability to begin seeing patients and providing the expert care you have come to expect and deserve from Towne & Country Eyecare.

Our highest priority is to keep all our patients and staff as safe as possible.

Therefore, at the recommendation of CDC, we will be taking patients’ temperatures and asking these screening questions prior to allowing them to enter the reception area. Notably, all patients need to consider these questions prior to coming to the office:

Should you arrive at the office and meet these criteria, you will be asked to stay in your vehicle and to call or text our office .We will let you know when you can come to the door for your screening.

We are currently working with reduced staff and reduced hours. There are NO walk-ins, all patients are by appointment only. Our current phone hours are Monday-Friday 9am- 3pm (closed 12-1 for lunch). We are looking forward to seeing our patients again.

Thank You,
TCE Staff
